hello miss fisher i met you at the comic con here in michigan at the rock financial showplace last year you signed a sideshow collectibles premium format statue you said you have never seen one of these before and i was very happy to meet you but i did not get a chance to get a picture taken with you is there any chance you will ever come back to michigan again i think i was probably the only person to have you sign one of these and as i was walking away you said i really like that statue i wish i could have just sat down and just hung out with you a little longer if you had time but anyway if you ever get a chance e mail me just to say hi take care miss fisher hope to talk to you soon let me know if you remember the statue have a great day

From one bipolar writer to another, you are THE BEST. We met once, briefly, and I told you I was sorry you didn’t get to see my play about a bipolar woman (called BICOASTAL WOMAN) that ran at the Pasadena Playhouse in 2003. Your response: “You should’ve invited me.” Well, I didn’t know how to get hold of you.

Now, my first collection of short stories will be published next year. The stories are twisted and hilarious, and some deal with the subject of bipolar disoder. I’m wondering if you’d be kind enough to write a blurb for me. I could easily e-mail some of the stories to you.

So, yeah…

Not sure who is going to necessarily read this, but I just got done reading “Wishful Drinking.” I have to say that I basically loved the book on the level where true talent with words meets complete randomness! It jumps around to the degree that I’m not entirely sure I know what decade we were talking about, but it’s all good cause that’s usually how I tell stories

On the other hand, I sorta didn’t like the book on the grounds that I guess I don’t really understand everything…I’m going out on a limb here by saying that it seemed very superficial to me, like someone rambling without ever really thinking about what they are saying. I have a degree in psychology and another in biochemistry so I’ve got the technical shit covered, that’s not what I’m talking about. I truly admired her/your/whomever’s fortitude in presenting such honest and raw truths, but I guess I just dig things it takes me weeks to understand…LOL! <~~~hooray for overused acronyms!

Anyway, I have adored you since I was first introduced to Star Wars about a decade and a half ago (my 25 years doesn't quiiiiite go back as far as the actual beginning of the phenomena that is Lucas Arts) and reading your books first stuck me as way too tragic and guess I just need to develop a better sense of humor about life ;P. I think you're right up there with f***ing awesome! I haven't had the "fun" you've had, as GAD causes me to worry about everything instead But I am currently applying to neuroscience masters programs to hopefully do some research on neurological disorders…wording that was iffy! WTF Batman?!?! Anywho…

P.S. Your "hero" character is my fav. to play in Battlefront 2 Either Leia or Darth Maul with the two double-bladed lightsaber thingy…that's just fun to swirl around and zap people…

Would you ever go to anything like Dragon*Con in Atlanta, GA? Having never been to a convention of any sort before, this year will be an experience!!
